Jean-Louis Claude
Born in 1955, originally from the Jura, Jean-Louis came to live in the 1980s in the Val d’Anniviers where his parents had built a chalet in 1966. His ardent passion for the mountain people has made him a guardian of the ancestral knowledge of the Val d’Anniviers and the history of its inhabitants. Designer and scenographer of thematic exhibitions, he has also written several magnificent books on the Val d’Anniviers to share the knowledge acquired during his research.
As a former animator at the Club Méditerranée, I took advantage of my experience to become the first animator of the Tourist Office of Zinal. Since then, not going beyond the framework of the Val d’Anniviers, I have never stopped putting my creativity and my artistic sense at the service of this valley. Self-taught in all that I undertake, I consider that the best teachings that one must acquire in this existence, it is with the school of the Life that one owes them.
